At Bastion EBA we are one of Australia’s only full-service sponsorship and experiential agencies. 

We use insights-based research and data to understand what makes consumers tick, but more importantly to create enjoyable experience-based events, partnerships and sponsorships that harness their wants and passions.

We call it Emotional Marketing and it’s born from the principle that when you stop disrupting what people are interested in, and start becoming what people are interested in, you forge long-lasting emotional bonds between brand and audience.

No word of a lie! 10 years of experience working in the UK, the Middle East, Hong Kong and now Australia has given Steph an in-depth understanding of different cultures and ways of working, developing a wealth of knowledge working with major global brands, planning and delivering integrated sponsorship programs and managing interstate and international teams.  Steph is passionate about offering expertise, guidance and ongoing consultation, to ensure our EBA management team plays an integral role within our client’s marketing department and leadership team.

Rod got into sponsorship strategy after running a nightclub for athletes @ the London 2012 Olympic Games. True story. He’s since spent 10+ years in Australia and the UK helping brands guide their investment in sponsorship. In 2015 he started working with Nissan and guided their investment into netball, long before the tidal wave of women’s sport arrived. A sponsorship purist, Rod believes clients join agencies for many reasons, but they always stay for world-class work.

With over 10 years experience in sports marketing, fan engagement, commercial strategy, and consumer growth Brett has had the opportunity to work for and with some of the biggest rights holders (AFL, Etihad Stadium, Western Bulldogs) and brands (Aon, Carsales, Deakin University) in the country.

This Sydney sider puts her clients first, thrives in a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and get stuck into a challenge. Responsible for sponsorship strategy, seamless project management and client engagement, Tara has 7+ years experience working in advertising, brand communications and sponsorship strategy. From a career working on blue chip tech giant IBM at Ogilvy & Mather, Tara made the transition to Bastion EBA's partnership strategy team in 2014 and has worked with leading brands including Blackmores, Rebel Sport, Fitness First, Macquarie Group and QBE to name a few. Her high energy approach coupled with an obsession for quality makes her a hugely valuable member of our team - and yours.
