Gaming Community Manager

Does the idea of executing social campaigns for one of the world’s largest tech companies make you Twitch? The Community Manager role will involve:

  • Working closely with Social Director, Business Director and broader team to develop cohesive social media marketing strategies
  • Front line social engagement for one of the largest tech companies in the world
  • Execution of paid media advertising and strategy
  • Management of your own roster of social channels in multiple markets
  • Content management, analytics & reporting
  • Providing comprehensive industry & competitor insights across the business group you work on
  • Audience expert – understanding your audience and adapting your communications to better engage & service.
  • Attending client WIP’s and creative briefings

The successful Community Manager will have:

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong soft skills and an aptitude for colleague and client interaction
  • Proven experience working in B2C role, within a social capacity
  • Proven experience within a PR, Creative or Digital agency
  • A proven interest in gaming and technology
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social campaigns
  • Proven experience in social media management, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube
  • Some experience in applying and executing paid media for brands
  • Experience in creating and or updating social assets in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in developing social reports and generating insights
  • A client-centric approach focused on delivering not just output, but business outcomes
  • Affinity for analytics and data, both paid and organic

  • Scheduling/Publishing – 40%

Inc. Tagging

Inc. Promotion when required

  • Moderating – 20%

Keeping SLAs below 4 hours

  • Planning 30%

Aligning with BG on content calendar

Thursday Planning Meeting

  • Reporting – 10%

Top level analysis and recommendations from paid activity and social channels monthly and as required.
