Account Manager - PR + Digital

Are you an experienced, strategic, motivated and enthusiastic Digital and PR Account Manager ,  who is passionate about producing world class work for a diverse range of clients?

Bastion Collective is looking for a driven and well-connected Digital + PR Account Manager who is passionate about producing world class work for a diverse range of consumer, hospitality & lifestyle and technology brands to join our integrated communications agency Bastion Effect. Joining a strong team within a fast paced, dynamic and collaborative agency environment in Surry Hills, you will report to our Senior Account Managers and work closely with the wider team across Bastion Effect’s Melbourne and Sydney offices.

Salary package

$72,000 inclusive of superannuation

You sit at the heart of great account service; producing high quality work to drive meaningful results for clients, managing deadlines and showing proactivity and initiative across a range of fronts.

The Account Manager role will involve:

  • Front line Digital and PR engagement for a group of clients and projects
  • Management of your own roster of social channels
  • Content management, analytics & reporting
  • Providing comprehensive industry & competitor insights across the business group you work on
  • Audience expert – understanding your audience and adapting your communications to better engage & service.
  • Driving account performance and finding new ways to create efficiencies
  • Work closely with Client Strategy Director, Business Director and broader team to develop cohesive social media marketing strategies
  • Attend client WIPs
  • Attend client creative briefings to source assets and disseminate locally
  • Participate in new business pitches leading social, paid social, social content and campaign recommendations
  • Working closely with the Influencer Lead / Digital Advocacy Expert within the business to drive synergies between the two capabilities

The successful Account Manager will have:

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience working in B2C / B2B role, within a PR, Digital and Social capacity   
  • A proven interest in cross section of categories e.g. consumer, lifestyle, tech
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing social, digital and PR campaigns
  • Proven experience in social media management, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube
  • Experience in applying and executing paid media for brands
  • Talent for developing creative briefs
  • Strong soft skills and an aptitude for colleague and client interaction
  • Demonstrated experience in developing social reports and generating insights
  • A client-centric approach focused on delivering not just output, but business outcomes
  • Affinity for analytics and data, both paid and organic
  • Proven experience within a PR, Creative or Digital agency
