Talent Acquisition Manager

At Bastion, our culture is everything.  We are a big family, and finding the right people to become part of our family is crucial.  With our business growing rapidly, we are expanding our People and Culture team to include a Talent Acquisition Manager.

Based in our Sydney office, our Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying, hiring and on-boarding of the key talent that our business needs, globally.  Reporting to the GM People + Culture, you will liaise directly with the individual business CEO and Hiring Managers on what great talent looks like, to ensure we attract and acquire the best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of recruitment process end to end
  • Work with the Hiring Managers to define general candidate requirements (prior experience, required skills, education, compensation ranges etc),
  • Work with Hiring Managers, CEO and senior leaders within the group to map out core competencies for key roles within the Collective
  • Manage appropriate partnership with sourcing and talent suppliers (ie LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Identify and develop relationships with other complimentary sourcing and talent suppliers
  • Refine recruitment processes to ensure an outstanding experiences both for the candidate and the hiring manager
  • Work with our Marketing Manager in order to devise talent branding strategies 
  • Deliver and report on all recruitment targets including time to hire and retention rates
  • Onboarding of all talent

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has a proven track record working in the recruitment industry – agency or in-house
  • Has the ability to understand the skills and resourcing requirements of a diverse range of marketing businesses
  • Has a people first attitude – and has a strong an incredibly strong desire to make an impact in a business that cares for its people  
  • Can assess the suitability of a candidate quickly – attitude, ability and skills
  • Has a substantial professional network
  • Has a proactive approach to talent acquisition
  • Has the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Has strong time and task management skills
  • Has a strong work ethic
  • Understands the pressure which comes with working in a fast paced agency environment
  • Loves people and loves having fun
